Saudi Arabia’s new digital Package Visa, launched on July 6, 2026, lets Indian travellers bundle their tourist visa, flights, hotels and curated experiences into a single booking through approved partners. Designed under Vision 2030 to boost tourism, it simplifies trip planning, offers round-the-clock support and encourages exploring multiple destinations via ready-made itineraries.

If you've been thinking about visiting Saudi Arabia, planning your trip could soon become much simpler. The Kingdom has introduced a new Package Visa, a digital initiative designed to combine your tourist visa application with your travel booking. Instead of arranging your visa, flights and hotel separately, you'll be able to complete the entire process through a single curated travel package offered by approved travel providers.

Launched yesterday, on July 6, 2026, the Package Visa is currently being rolled out across select international markets, including India. The initiative forms part of Saudi Arabia's broader tourism expansion under Vision 2030, which aims to make the country more accessible and attract millions of international visitors every year.

So, What Does This Actually Mean For You?

Basically, it removes some of the administrative hassle that comes with planning an international holiday. Under the new Package visa, when you book a travel package through a qualified tourism partner, you'll have one streamlined journey that covers your visa, flights, accommodation and, in many cases, experiences and activities as well.

This could be particularly useful if you're visiting Saudi Arabia for the first time. Instead of worrying about whether you've completed every step correctly, you'll be dealing with approved travel providers that meet Saudi Arabia's service standards and offer round-the-clock customer support.

The Package Visa also encourages you to explore more than just one destination. Many travel providers are expected to bundle attractions, cultural experiences, entertainment events and guided tours into their itineraries. This, of course, will take off the load of building an itinerary from scratch; just choose from ready-made travel experiences tailored to different interests and budgets.

The Package Visa builds on Saudi Arabia's recent efforts to simplify entry for international visitors. Over the past few years, the Kingdom has introduced several traveller-friendly options, including the tourist e-Visa, visa on arrival for eligible nationalities and the Stopover Transit Visa. While the new Package Visa won't replace existing visa options, it gives you another way to plan your trip, particularly if you prefer the convenience of booking everything in one place.
