Robb Report India marked its first anniversary at Fairmont Udaipur Palace with Chapter One: The Circle of Influence, an invite-only, two-day celebration of its debut-year success. The event gathered leading tastemakers, launched the RR Circle Members 2026-27, and underscored the magazine’s role in shaping India’s luxury narrative through curated experiences, partnerships and immersive storytelling across culture, travel and design.

On August 23 and 24, 2026, Fairmont Udaipur Palace hosted Robb Report India's first anniversary. The title, a part of RPSG Lifestyle Media and a sister magazine to Esquire India, called the two-day gathering Chapter One: The Circle of Influence. It was an invite-only celebration built around the resplendent success of the magazine in its debut year and marked the launch of the RR Circle Members for 2026-27.

The guest list included a cross-section of the country's biggest tastemakers: RPSG Vice-Chairman Shashwat Goenka and Shivika Goenka, Director of Education and Luxury at RPSG; couturiers Rahul and Divya Mishra; gallerists Prateek and Priyanka Raja, and Bhavna Kakkar; Klove designers Gautam Seth and Prateek Jain; artist Paresh Maity; jewellers Tarang Arora of Amrapali and Siddharth Kasliwal of Gem Palace and royal family members from Mewar, Alsisar and Karauli.

Fairmont Udaipur Palace and Accor joined as hospitality partners, along with BMW Excellence Club as Luxury Mobility Partner, The Macallan as Experience Partner, Vedica as Hydration Partner, Titan Nebula as Celebrations Partner and Aabee as the Luxury Travel and Concierge Partner.

Where the Circle Began

The choice of city for Robb Report India’s first anniversary wasn't incidental. Udaipur was the first stop for Robb Report India's #RRExperience series, an exclusive celebration of culture and craftsmanship. The second #RRExperience, titled Palace Privé, was held at the Jai Vilas Palace in Gwalior in April 2026, where Priyadarshini Raje Scindia and her son, Mahaaryaman Scindia, opened their ancestral home to a room stacked with names from Bollywood, fashion, business and culture.

Chapter One brought the series back to its starting point as a full-circle gesture that doubled as the anniversary's thesis.

Avarna Jain, Chairperson of RPSG Lifestyle Media, said about the jubilee: "India is at an exciting inflection point in shaping the global luxury narrative. For Robb Report India and RPSG Lifestyle Media to play a part in taking India's stories of craftsmanship, culture and contemporary luxury to the world is a matter of immense pride. Since its launch in September 2025, Robb Report India has sought to set a new benchmark for luxury storytelling and experiences.”

Robb Report India has been the gold standard in luxury media, offering insights across categories such as automobiles, travel, fine dining, real estate, and rare collectables. It curates the world’s finest offerings for a readership that is increasingly setting the terms of global living.

A Grand Gala

The celebration started with a lunch, followed by Celebration Experiences and a VIP gala in the evening at the Imperial Ballroom. At the fireside chat, Jain sat down with Kajol for a look back at thirty years of the actor’s iconic character, Simran, and how her take on luxury had little to do with objects: it was the bandwidth to choose, whether that meant a slow morning or the freedom to work or not.

Jasleen Royal followed with a set of her biggest hits, including Love You Zindagi and Heeriye. She also pulled former cricketer Suresh Raina up for an impromptu performance on stage. In the afterparty that continued up till the wee hours of the morning, DJ Aqeel played an exclusive set at Dahaad, running through old favourites for guests only.

Aindrila Mitra, Editor of Robb Report India, said, "Robb Report India has had a remarkable year one with the launch of various IPs like The Robb Report Table, Culinary Masters, At Home with Royalty and our marquee RR Experience. And while we step towards Chapter Two, it will be our endeavour to steer this title towards Luxury with Purpose. Where multi-format immersive content, access and mindful storytelling become our hallmarks.”

The formality and extravagance of the gala gave way to a more relaxing morning the next day: guests out on the padel court or lounging by the pool before a final breakfast sent everyone toward departure. It was a small, telling contrast: a magazine that spent its debut year courting India's most celebrated trailblazers, letting its anniversary end not on the conventionality of the stage but on a court, a swim and a shared table.
