MGM+ has renewed its hit horror series FROM for a fifth and final season, expected to premiere in 2027 after production begins later this year in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Following the devastating Season 4 finale, Season 5 will pick up immediately, promising to resolve long-running mysteries as Boyd, Tabitha, Jade, Victor, and other survivors fight to uncover the town’s dark truth.

Following a shocking Season 4 finale that left several beloved characters dead and the town more vulnerable than ever, MGM+'s hit horror series FROM has officially been renewed for a fifth and final season. Here's all we know about Season 5 so far.

FROM Season 5 Release Date

While MGM+ has yet to announce an exact premiere date, FROM Season 5 is expected to arrive in 2027. Production is reportedly set to begin later this year in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where the series has been filmed since its debut.

The renewal was announced in April 2026, with creators John Griffin, Jeff Pinkner, and Jack Bender. "We are wildly excited to announce that we've officially begun work on Season 5," the creators have said in a joint statement, adding that the final season will bring the story to its intended conclusion.

Who Is Returning For FROM Season 5?

While MGM+ has not officially confirmed the complete cast for FROM Season 5, most of the surviving main characters are expected to return for the series' final chapter. Harold Perrineau is likely to reprise his role as Sheriff Boyd Stevens, alongside Catalina Sandino Moreno as Tabitha Matthews, David Alpay as Jade Herrera, Elizabeth Saunders as Donna Raines, Scott McCord as Victor Kavanaugh, and Ricky He as Kenny Liu.

Other familiar faces expected to return include Chloe Van Landschoot as Kristi Miller, Pegah Ghafoori as Fatima Hassan, Corteon Moore as Ellis Stevens, Hannah Cheramy as Julie Matthews, as well as Simon Webster, Avery Konrad, and AJ Simmons.

Season 5 is expected to continue directly after events, with Boyd, Tabitha, Jade, Victor, and the remaining survivors desperately trying to uncover the truth before the town claims more lives. Executive producer Jack Bender has previously stated that many of the storylines that were set in motion in season 1 were made keeping the ending in mind, so the next season, whenever it comes, will be where all the plotlines finally draw to a close.
