Nani leads the period action drama The Paradise, while Keerthy Suresh features in the 1980s crime drama Dorothy. Dhoomakethu brings a Malayalam pick to Netflix. This is the week's biggest Telugu title. Nani plays Jadal, who rises against oppression to fight for his marginalised community, in a period action drama directed by Srikanth Odela, who previously worked with Nani on Dasara. Netflix is streaming it in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Karthik Subbaraj's Tamil crime drama goes back to the 1980s to follow childhood friends Karthi and Subbu. They grow up as henchmen under Subbu's father, Whistle Veeraiah, in a world where loyalty is inherited rather than chosen. Sananth, Rishikanth and Keerthy Suresh lead the cast. It also streams in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, and sits in Netflix's Southverse collection.
Starring Sajin Gopu and Nikhila Vimal, Dhoomakethu is a Malayalam time-loop comedy about a man who finds himself reliving his wedding day after dreaming of his death. Directed by Sudhi Maddison, the film also features Shine Tom Chacko, Sidharth Bharathan and Ganapathi S. Poduval. It streams on Netflix in five languages: Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
A husband walks into a police station to report his wife missing, and the questions soon turn to what he is saying and what he is leaving out. Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu Prasad, who led the 2008 romance Kotha Bangaru Lokam, reunite after 18 years for this psychological thriller from director Swatiprakash Mantripragada. It is streaming in Telugu and Tamil.
Raju is scraping by in poverty when he discovers he can read tomorrow's news today. This Telugu suspense comedy-drama series stars Vishwadev Rachakonda and Shivathmika Rajashekar. It treats foresight as a mixed blessing, since a gift like that brings as much trouble as opportunity.
