South Indian OTT Releases This Week July 20-26, 2026

Pallichattambi - SonyLIV (July 24)

The big one this week is easily Pallichattambi, dropping on SonyLIV on July 24, and it's not just releasing in Malayalam. You can catch it in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada too. Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the film stars Tovino Thomas alongside Kayadu Lohar, Shatru, Vijayaraghavan, Siddique and Baburaj, with Prithviraj Sukumaran popping up in a cameo.

The story is set in 1950s Kerala and follows Krishna Pillai, an orphan caught between two faiths as he grows up, who's eventually taken in by the Church and given a new identity. But this isn't just a coming-of-age tale, as he watches his village buckle under the weight of an oppressive landlord, Krishna finds himself choosing sides, standing with the very people he was raised apart from.

Secret of Kalinga - SunNXT (July 24)

Streaming on SunNXT from July 24, Secret of Kalinga mixes horror, mythology and comedy, a combination that shouldn't work but often does in Malayalam cinema. Saneesh Unnikrishnan directs, with Dhyan Sreenivasan, Althaf Salim, Riyaz Khan and Malavika Menon leading the cast.

The setup: a group of university students are out celebrating New Year when they stumble on an ancient well nobody knew was there. Naturally, digging into the past, literally, wakes up secrets tied to a long-lost kingdom and a rare celestial event. What starts as a curious discovery quickly turns into something far more dangerous.

Case of Kondana - ETV Win (July 23)

Over on ETV Win, the Kannada thriller Case of Kondana arrives July 23 in a Telugu-dubbed version. Devi Prasad Shetty directs, with Vijay Raghavendra, Bhavana, Kushee Ravi and Rangayana Raghu in the lead roles.

The premise is a familiar one done well: a young police officer named Wilson makes a fatal mistake, then tries to bury it. But as the evidence starts closing in around him, he's forced to juggle guilt, deception, and mounting pressure from the very department he's supposed to serve.

Con City - Netflix (July 24)

Netflix is bringing us Con City on July 24, a Tamil crime comedy directed by Harish Durairaj. Arjun Das and Anna Ben lead, joined by Yogi Babu and Vadivukarasi.

The plot follows four former criminals trying to leave their old lives behind by pretending to be an ordinary, unremarkable middle-class family running a small hotel. It's a nice quiet life, until a few unexpected guests show up and threaten to blow the whole disguise wide open.

Ego Raman - Prime Video (July 24)

Also dropping July 24, this time on Prime Video, is Ego Raman, a Tamil drama directed by Ganesan Nachimuthu. The cast includes Ciby Chandran, Robo Shankar, Cheran Raj and Keerthana Shreekumar.

It's the story of a young man chasing a career in civil services, who claws his way from hardship to success, only to be pulled back into the past by an emotional reckoning with the mentor who shaped him in the first place.

Triple Decker - ManoramaMAX (July 24)

Rounding out the week is Triple Decker, a Malayalam dark comedy premiering on ManoramaMAX on July 24. Krishnanunni Mangalath directs Akhil Sreekumaran, Vaishnavi and Gowri Kutty in this one.

The story is simple on paper: a delivery executive wants to impress the woman he's fallen for. But what should be a straightforward plan spirals into one chaotic mishap after another, turning his romantic mission into an accidental comedy of errors.
