Shahad Nilambur's Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar moves from its theatrical run to Netflix on October 9. Parvathy Thiruvothu stars as Aleena Abraham, a newly recruited police officer caught in the fallout from a fatal incident at her station. What begins as an attempt to protect themselves soon becomes a tense contest of intelligence as investigator Harris Meeran starts pulling apart the cover-up.
Mathew Thomas, Vijayaraghavan, Sidharth Bharathan and Unnimaya Prasad are also part of the ensemble. The film will stream in Malayalam alongside dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
With Eyes, director Manu Ashokan turns his attention to the unsettling psychology of stalking. Kani Kusruti plays police officer Tina Sebastian, who investigates a series of cases involving women being watched and harassed. As separate incidents begin to reveal a wider pattern, Tina works with mental health professionals to understand the behaviour behind the obsession.
The series reunites Ashokan with writers Bobby-Sanjay after Uyare and Kaanekkaane, and also features Shruti Ramachandran, Nikhila Vimal, Saniya Iyappan and Dev Mohan. It will stream on SonyLIV in multiple languages.
Prithviraj Sukumaran steps into the world of organised gold trading in Vysakh's Khalifa: The Ruler. Aamir Ali begins as an ordinary textile businessman before circumstances force him to confront a family legacy built around power, money and the underworld.
The action thriller arrives on October 9 across six platforms, including Prime Video, Aha, ManoramaMAX, Lionsgate Play, STARZPLAY and Simply South. Mohanlal also makes a cameo, adding another reason for Malayalam cinema followers to keep this one on their radar.
Though originally a Telugu romantic drama, Epic - First Semester joins the Malayalam OTT slate through its multilingual Netflix release. Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya play students navigating love, ambition and identity after a move to London for higher studies.
Directed by Aditya Hasan, the film arrives on Netflix on October 9 with Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada alongside Telugu.
