This Friday’s OTT lineup offers a bit of everything: a gentle hill-station romance in Musafir Cafe, a creeping Spanish thriller The Truthers, Kevin Hart’s wild Miami bender in 72 Hours, the classic Scream trilogy’s return, school-set satire Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya, and multiverse chaos in Stuart Fails To Save The Universe on JioHotstar.

It's been a busy week for streaming, and this Friday's lineup has genuinely got a bit of everything a cosy love story, a thriller that'll mess with your head, a Kevin Hart comedy for people who like their humour loud, and even a multiverse mess courtesy of everyone's favourite comic-book-store owner. If you're trying to figure out what to watch this weekend, here's your shortlist.

Musafir Cafe (Netflix)

Vikrant Massey, Vedika Pinto and Mahima Makwana star in this warm, slow romance about a software engineer who walks away from his corporate life to run a cafe in the hills. It's less about big twists and more about quietly finding yourself again perfect if you're in the mood for something gentle.

The Truthers (Netflix)

A Spanish-language thriller, Ruth comes home after losing her mother, only to realise her father has fallen down a conspiracy-theory rabbit hole and isn't quite the person she remembers. It's a slow burn, but it's the kind of thriller that creeps up on you rather than jump-scaring you.

The Truthers (2026)

72 Hours (Netflix)

Kevin Hart plays a 40-something marketing exec who accidentally gets added to a Gen Z bachelor party group chat and, instead of quietly leaving, decides he's going to fit in with the younger crowd. What follows is a three-day bender through Miami. It's loud, chaotic, R-rated, and basically a cringe-comedy fever dream.

Scream Trilogy (Netflix)

It's not new, but newly back. If you'd rather rewatch a slasher classic than commit to something unfamiliar, all three original Scream films just landed on netflix.

Scream 1996

Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya (Prime Video)

Kay Kay Menon and Archana Puran Singh star in this seven-episode comedy-drama about a struggling government school thrown into chaos by a makeover plan. Funny, a little chaotic, and easy to binge with the family.

Stuart Fails To Save The Universe (JioHotstar)

Kevin Sussman's Stuart Bloom, from The Big Bang Theory, accidentally breaks the multiverse with a gadget he really shouldn't have touched and now he and his girlfriend have to fix it. Its silly in the best way.
