Prime Video’s Off-Campus is officially returning for season 2, greenlit even before season 1 premiered. The new chapter shifts focus from Hannah and Garrett to Dean and Allie, adapting The Score rather than following the novels’ release order. Key cast members return, with new additions and one major exit, and a likely late 2026 or early 2027 release window.
Prime Video's Off-Campus has practically spread like wildfire now, to the extent that Prime Video has submitted the show for Emmy considerations (interesting choice, I would say, but anyway). But back to more important questions for you and me, Off-Campus season 2 is already in the works. In fact, Prime Video already confirmed season 2 months before season 1 even premiered.
The early renewal came alongside comments from Amazon’s global television head Peter Friedlander, who praised the series for its character-focused storytelling and strong source material.
Several core cast members are officially set to return for season 2. Actor Belmont Cameli confirmed that Garrett Graham will remain part of "the ride the whole time.” Ella Bright is also returning as Hannah Wells after leading season 1’s central romance storyline.
Antonio Cipriano will reprise his role as John Logan, while India Fowler has officially joined the cast as Grace Ivers, Logan’s romantic interest from The Mistake.
Other returning cast members expected in season 2 include Mika Abdalla as Allie Hayes, Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis, and Jalen Thomas Brooks as Tucker.
Meanwhile, Phillipa Soo has joined season 2 in a recurring role as Scarlett, a theater director connected to Briar University’s performing arts department.
One major character will not return in season 2. Josh Heuston is exiting the series as Justin Kohl, although Levy stated in interviews that the door remains open for a possible future return once later storylines are introduced.
There is also no official confirmation yet regarding whether Steve Howey will reprise his role as Phil Graham.
While season 1 revolved around Hannah and Garrett’s relationship from The Deal, season 2 is expected to shift attention toward Dean and Allie. We already saw the one-night stand that set off Dean and Allie's story in season 1, and showrunner Louisa Levy confirmed that the adaptation will not strictly follow the release order of Kennedy’s novels.
Instead of immediately adapting Logan and Grace’s full romance from The Mistake, the second book in the Off-Campus series, the show is expected to push Dean and Allie into the spotlight by adapting The Score instead.
Prime Video has not announced an official release date for season 2 yet, but production is expected to begin immediately in Vancouver. Based on season 1’s filming timeline between June and October 2025 before its May 2026 release, the second season will likely arrive in late 2026 or early 2027. No trailer has been released so far, though.
