It’s been a hot & steamy year so far and no, we’re not talking about just the weather here. There’s been a barrage of erotic movies and shows that have released across OTT platforms in the months gone by, and each one has been sexier than the others.
From dramas packed with emotion to thrillers and mysteries, almost every genre has added a healthy dose of steamy, saucy and sexy to their scripts and the audiences have lapped it all up. Since we’re all set to enter the last quarter of the year (where has the year gone!), we thought it was time to assess things – put together our list of the best steamy and erotic movies and shows released this year. It’s quite a list, we promise, so feel free to spare a thought (or more) for us while you enjoy the show!

One of the year’s most talked-about shows, Prime Video’s 56 Days saw two attractive meet, fall in love, have passionate sex, deceit each other and end up involved in someone’s murder, all in the span of 56 days. And yes, that passionate sex was exactly the kind of saucy and sexy you’re looking for.
The year’s most hotly debated movie, Wuthering Heights, took many creative liberties to veer a tad too differently from its source material. What it didn’t do was do away with the plot’s steamy bits. The fact that we’ve had three editions of this hit Netflix anthology series tells you all about how audiences can’t have enough of these tales, all revolving around love, lust and everything in between. The third part, released recently, ups the sexual ante – Gurfateh Pirzada, in particular, is baring it all, while Aditi Rao Hydari turns up a pleasant surprise or two.
The fact that everyone was talking about this Prime Video show across the globe is all the motivation you need to check it out right away. Yes, it’s that typical college romance-kinda story, but it packs enough and more sexual zing to keep even the adults entertained.
The show’s third & final season might’ve turned out to be a damp squib from a storyline point of view, but for lovers of erotica in Euphoria, the show didn’t disappoint. Sydney Sweeney – the two words you know you can’t ignore, in particular. Check it out on JioHotstar.
K-Dramas aren’t usually known for sexual scenes, but The Scandal definitely comes as a shocking surprise. It’s got deception, yes, but also seduction. Reason enough why the show has been making waves on Netflix. Who said Koreans can’t dial it up when needed, right?
