9/11 happened a few years before I was born, yet it's the one event that has been alluded to so widely in popular culture and media that I could argue that we're still feeling its aftermath. It's the closest world-changing historical event (barring, maybe the pandemic) to the present day, and there's very little that has remained unaffected to the fall of the Twin Towers.
Aptly so, the tragedy has been covered and revisited countless times in the twenty-five years that have followed. Almost every time, there's a completely new angle to cover, whether it is the lives of kids who were born in a post 9/11 world, or how baseball broughtg the country together, or consipracy theories about how unexpected political players led to the tragedy.
