Wimbledon is an event unlike any other, one that combines sporting and sartorial panache, where the battle to be named best-dressed is almost as thrilling as the action on the court.
During the final weekend of the tournament, the Range Rover suite was without doubt the place to be. The British carmaker, official vehicle partner of the Championships, hosted a group of stylish guests from the worlds of fashion and entertainment.
Actors Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Letitia Wright, Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Steven Graham attended on the day of the men’s singles final, Sunday 12 July. The day began with lunch in the Range Rover suite before the group headed to Centre Court, where Jannik Sinner lifted the trophy after defeating Alexander Zverev.
This came after a nail-biting round of semi-finals on Friday 10 July, during which Range Rover hosted a group that included actors Louis Partridge, Fabien Frankel and Rufus Sewell. Guests enjoyed a welcome speech from tennis legend Annabel Croft, as well as afternoon tea – a quintessential part of the Wimbledon experience. Both days ended with guests chauffeured home in a fleet of Range Rovers.
This is the third year that Range Rover has served as official vehicle partner to the Championships, with a multi-year agreement extending the relationship between the luxury automotive brand and the sporting institution. The summer season also marks a major moment in the brand’s history as the long-awaited Range Rover Electric makes its debut at a roster of events, including Wimbledon. The marque’s first zero-tailpipe-emissions car is presented in a fitting shade named ‘British Racing Green’.
