Rodri was the heartbeat of Spain's unbeaten World Cup campaign. The midfielder dictated matches with his composure, passing range and defensive awareness, helping Spain concede just once in eight matches. His influence stretched beyond statistics, controlling the tempo in every knockout fixture before lifting both the World Cup trophy and the Golden Ball as the tournament's best player.

Kylian Mbappe once again proved why he remains football's most feared tournament forward. The France captain finished with 10 goals and four assists, pulling ahead in the scoring race with a decisive brace in the third-place play-off against England. The achievement made him the first player to win the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot in consecutive editions after also finishing top scorer in 2022.

FIFA World Cup 2026 Silver Ball, Silver Boot And Golden Glove Winners

Lionel Messi's remarkable World Cup journey ended with another collection of honours despite Argentina falling to Spain in the final. Spain's defensive dominance was recognised through goalkeeper Unai Simon, who won the Golden Glove after conceding only one goal throughout the tournament.
