The festival is a massive two-day celebration scheduled for November 20 and 21. The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2026 will take place on November 20 and 21 at the New Shillong Highland Grounds in Mahmawdkuk, Meghalaya. The venue is approximately 30 minutes from central Shillong and is intended to accommodate larger crowds, with improved parking and traffic management.

Khalid: The American R&B and pop singer is known for tracks such as Location, Better and Young Dumb & Broke.

Boys Like Girls: The American pop-rock band is known for songs including The Great Escape and Love Drunk.

General Admission (GA) Day 1 and Day 2 passes are priced at ₹2,499 each. The GA Season Pass costs ₹4,799 and includes access to the festival grounds on both days. VIP tickets start at ₹7,499. The easiest way to reach Shillong is via Guwahati, Assam. Visitors can fly into Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport or take a train to Guwahati Railway Station, both of which offer onward road connections to Shillong. The journey takes approximately three to four hours by taxi, shared cab or bus, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
