The Ocean
Meanwhile, Indian bands like The Down Troddence and Midhaven are also part of the lineup.
Bangalore Open Air is India’s only dedicated heavy metal open-air festival. It started in 2012 and has since become one of the biggest events in the country’s rock and metal scene.
Over the years, the festival has hosted bands like Kreator, Napalm Death, Nile, and Overkill. BOA provides Indian metal bands a large platform alongside international acts.
Despite venue changes, cancellations, and even the pandemic years, BOA has continued to grow steadily and remains one of the most anticipated music festivals in India.
