Leaks peg the base iPhone 18 Pro price, with just a Rs 5000 hike, at around Rs 139900 in India, up from the iPhone 17 Pro price of Rs 134900 at launch. A separate estimate puts a higher storage configuration at around Rs 1,44,900.
One factor behind the anticipated increase is rising memory chip costs, with growing demand from AI infrastructure putting pressure on global supply. India has already seen some of Apple's other products get pricier this year, including the iPad Air and MacBook Air.
The higher price may coincide with a move to Apple's A20 Pro chip, said to be built on TSMC's 2nm process, along with 12GB of RAM. That would mark a notable jump over the iPhone 17 Pro's chip in both performance and efficiency.
The Pro Max, specifically, is tipped to get a bigger battery than the iPhone 17 Pro Max, alongside brighter LTPO+ displays that could help extend battery life further. Apple's new C2 modem is also expected to improve power efficiency.
Camera changes could include a variable-aperture 48-megapixel main sensor and a stacked sensor on the Pro Max, along with a smaller Dynamic Island. Apple is also said to be working on wider satellite connectivity support for this generation.
All of these figures remain unconfirmed estimates rather than official numbers, and actual India pricing will only be known once Apple formally announces the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
