The Lamborghini Temerario Has Arrived

The newest electric hybrid doesn’t whisper—it roars

By Nitin Sreedhar | LAST UPDATED: JUN 3, 2025

The Lamborghini Temerario knows how to make some noise.

Backed by a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain, the Temerario is the first production super sports car to achieve 10,000 rpm. Its performance is nothing short of brilliant—with a top speed of 343 km per hour, the newest electric hybrid from Automobili Lamborghini can go from zero to 100 in just 2.7 seconds.

As the second model in Lamborghini’s High Performance Electrified Vehicle range (following the Revuelto), the Temerario houses three electric motors—each pushing 110 kW—alongside its combustion engine.

What sets a Lamborghini apart from every other sports car is its majestic sound—and behind the wheel of the Temerario, that signature roar lives on. But switch to Città mode, and it transforms into a silent electric beast. The company says the Temerario reduces CO2 emissions by up to 50% as compared to the Huracán.

You can also expect much more downforce with the Temerario. The car’s design combines elements from aviation to achieve a visual muscularity that starts at the front and reflects across the vehicle. The tip of the hood dominates the entire front end in a strong and striking shark’s nose design. The headlights are slightly overlapped by the hood, drawing inspiration from the world of sports motorcycles. Air-guiding slats connect the low front spoiler with the hood, while fins on the sides direct the airflow along the flanks. Sharply shaped side skirts support the aerodynamics and increase downforce at the same time.

During a recent launch in New Delhi, the Temerario peered at me in its Viola Pasifae livery. A shade of purple that is synonymous with Lamborghini, clients can even customise the Temerario in over 400 body colours and special liveries through the brand’s Ad Personam programme.

The bright white headlights broke through a dark silhouette that engulfed the car. A millisecond later, that familiar roar of a Lamborghini filled the room.

A reminder that this is a raging bull for individuals who appreciate raw speed and a splash of colour.

Starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 6 crore.
