A WATCH DIAL CAN DO wonders for its wearer. In some cases, it can help them wear a piece of cosmic history on their wrist.
Meteorite dials are raining everywhere. From Japanese independent watch brands to established Swiss maisons, watchmakers have used these space rocks, billions of years old, to produce some breathtaking timepieces that are not only unique but also aesthetically pleasing.
These dials are particularly prized for their unique, iron-nickel Widmanstätten patterns. But it’s not just the intrinsic geometric lines that woo a wearer or the watchmakers. The metallic sheen, a bespoke feel in every dial and genuine extraterrestrial origin, makes these meteorite dial watches hard to miss.
It’s simply a case of timekeeping on a cosmic scale.

The maison’s first meteorite dial with a small-seconds indicator has two variants: a black model that shows the impact of a meteorite and a silver model that represents the stillness after the explosion.
The Omega Speedmaster Moonphase gets a touch of ancient space material in this 43-mm line-up: a black PVD coated meteorite dial and a galvanic grey coated dial.

A special project from the hugely popular Kurono Tokyo, the 37mm Inseki features a dial made from the Muonionalusta meteorite —an iron-nickel meteorite.
A versatile sports chronograph meets a rare celestial dial. This is a great example of a classic design taking a new approach.
