How to Spend 48 Hours in Seminyak, Bali: Your Guide to Beach Clubs, Brunch Spots and Long, Easy Nights

Seminyak rewards people who don't over-plan. The good days here have loose edges; breakfast runs long, the beach eats an afternoon without you noticing, and one sunset drink turns into two. Here's a loose shape for 48 hours that doesn't fight that.

Day 1

Start at 32do Coffee, small, unfussy, easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Get a flat white and a seat before the street fills up.

From there, head to Milk & Madu for brunch. Nobody working there seems rushed, and neither should you. Order the pancakes or a smoothie bowl, sit outside, and let an hour disappear.

By early afternoon, make your way to Potato Head Beach Club. Go around 2pm; early enough to snag a sunbed, late enough that lunch makes sense.

Stick around for sunset if the crowd doesn't bother you, or slide over to Ku De Ta or Alila Beach Bar for the same view with fewer people.

Follow that with a good dinner, there's no shortage of good options nearby ;then finish the night at The Shady Pig, a speakeasy-style bar that's easy to walk past and hard to leave once you're in.

Day 2

Ease into the morning after yesterday. Breakfast at Revolver Espresso, one of the originals, still good. then wander the boutiques around Jalan Kayu Aya. Kim Soo Home is worth it for interiors; Seminyak Village has enough local designers to justify an extra bag home.

Book an hour at Bodyworks Spa in the afternoon. You'll be glad you did before an evening on your feet.

For lunch or an early dinner, Crave Burgers is the antidote to a weekend of smoothie bowls and grilled fish; sometimes you just want a burger, and this one delivers. Close to this is also Finn's, the very famous beach club. Might be worth trying if it's something you would enjoy, otherwise it's just overcrowded and not the best beach club Seminyak has to offer.

Save some energy for later. For some drinks, start at La Favela, less a bar than a maze of rooms and gardens that keep opening into more rooms and gardens. Then head to Motel Mexicola loud, bright, margaritas by the jug, and a dance floor that doesn't clear out until well past midnight.
