The World Is Now In Love With Indian Whisky Brands

Whisky is certainly having a moment in India.

Actually, whisky is always having a moment in the country.

But aside from just drinking Whisky, Indians are getting more and more excited about making it as well. The Indian Whisky market is booming, and newer players are entering the space, faster than ever. You’d have noticed it yourself; visit any bar and the number of Whisky brands from India are astounding.

And Indian Whiskies are good!

Probably why they’re being celebrated world over both for quality and innovation. They’re winning laurels and palates alike. Like at the recently announced World Whiskies Awards 2025 Rest of World, where 15 different Indian Whisky brands won top honours.

The World Whiskies Awards is an annual event aimed at spotlighting the whisky market across the globe. The ‘Rest of World’ winners will now move to the next stage, where they’ll be in competition with champion whisky brands from France, Scotland, Ireland and the United States. The winners from that – the ultimate winners -  RoW region are set to advance to the next stage of the competition, where they will compete against champions from France, Scotland, the USA, and Ireland. The ultimate World's Best winners in each category will then be announced at the Global Dinner in March.

For now, here are the Indian Whisky brands that have been awarded at the World Whiskies Awards – Rest of World 2025:
