Shah Rukh Khan has done a lot of things in his life: ruled Bollywood, reinvented, romance, built empires. So, it is not everyday that you hear the news of a fintech billionaire, the superstar himself, and a legacy liquor house walk into a bar- let alone build one together.
But that's exactly what's happening right now with D’YAVOL Spirits the latest premium alcobev venture backed by Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, Nikhil Kamath of Zerodha fame, and liquor titan Radico Khaitan. The pitch is deceptively simple: world-class, bottled-in-origin premium spirits with global ambitions, starting with a high-end tequila that launches soon. Back in 2022, D'YAVOL was a moody, fashion-forward lifestyle brand with small-batch of vodka on the side that was co-founded by Aryan Khan and Bunty Singh Then came D’YAVOL X, a fashion drop that felt more Berlin nightclub than Bandra brunch. Now, it’s spirits with edge and a very clear pitch: global design sensibility, sharp storytelling, and drinks ( particularly premium tequila) that don’t beg for approval.
“With D’YAVOL Spirits, our ambition is to shape a brand that doesn’t just sit on a shelf but lives in culture,” Aryan says. It's the kind of thing you expect to hear in a boardroom in Berlin not from a 26-year-old Indian entrepreneur whose name alone could’ve guaranteed easier shortcuts. But D’YAVOL isn’t here to coast.
