London's Best, The Connaught Bar, Is Coming to India

Why fly all the way to London to bar hop when one of its most celebrated bars is coming to you this festive season? The Connaught Bar, crowned the best bar in England and sitting comfortably at No. 8 on the World's 50 Best Bars 2026 list, is landing in India for two exclusive nights in New Delhi and Mumbai.

According to Amit Kaul, Vice President & General Manager of The Oberoi, Mumbai, the collaboration with The Connaught Bar is an opportunity to celebrate new perspectives on mixology while staying true to their focus on warm, personalised hospitality. Given guests are always the heart of the story that goes into curating cocktails, for Giorgio Bargiani, Assistant Director of Mixology, the creator of Gucci's first collector's cocktail and named International Bartender of the Year in 2023, "Guests are at the heart of everything I create; they are the story, the inspiration and the tribute. That's what makes this collaboration with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts a natural fit. I am excited to lead this coming together of shared philosophies in New Delhi and Mumbai."

Here's everything to expect from the takeover at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, where London's top mixologists Giorgio Bargiani and Giorgio Iovine will be behind the bar.

Consider it the most stylish warm-up to Diwali 2026. The action begins at Cirrus 9 in New Delhi on 31 October, then moves to The Eau Bar in Mumbai on 1 November. At both venues, The Connaught Bar's inventive cocktail programme will shape a specially curated menu.

Bargiani and Iovine will pour their signature creations, including:

• Goodfellas: Inspired by the 1990 film, this is a modern spin on the Fanciulli, a sweet Manhattan. Deep notes of fig, molasses and cherry are finished with a touch of balsamic vinegar for a mellow tartness

• The Connaught Bar Martini: The icon itself, stirred with tradition

• Kindred Joy: An elevated take on the classic Paloma, designed to capture the spirit of togetherness and hospitality
