The second instalment of Esquire Room in Delhi—hosted in collaboration with The Macallan— drew a dignified mix of diplomats, designers and stalwarts.
Conceived as an intimate dinner series, Esquire Room brings together a carefully curated circle to celebrate craft, culture and considered conversation.
Set within the refined ambience of Le Cirque at The Leela Palace, New Delhi, the evening unfolded over a four-course, whisky-paired dinner.
Among those in attendance were filmmaker Gurinder Chadha, OBE; Avarna Jain, Chairperson, RPSG Lifestyle Media; former ambassadors Navtej Sarna and Vikas Swarup; Ambassador of Ireland to India Kevin Kelly; image guru Dilip Cherian, columnist Devi Cherian; artist Aparna Swarup, Dr Avina Sarna, and historian and Neemrana Hotels co founder Aman Nath.
From a paella paired with The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years to a fig and date Torija pudding alongside The Macallan A Night on Earth-Journey, the dishes conjured by Sous Chef Vashisht Ajit Kumar and team mirrored the evening’s ethos: precise, indulgent and thoughtfully composed.
