After Sterling Point, 8 Shows For Your Next Teen Drama Fix

Hopecore, cozy romances, teenage love... 2026 really is the year of comfort watches, no matter the genre. The latest addition to the list is Prime Video's Sterling Point. Created by Megan Park, the show is about 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin), a New York teenager who, after being rejected from her dream summer programme, discovers that she and her twin brother Connor (Keen Ruffalo) have inherited a remote Canadian island from the estranged grandfather she was never allowed to meet. Annie secretly travels to the island to investigate her family history, where she meets Ramona (Amélie Hoeferle), her estranged sister, while fiding her bearings around a new love triangle blossing in her life.

Created by Megan Park, the filmmaker behind Sterling Point, My Old Ass is probably the most obvious next watch. The film follows 18-year-old Elliott (Maisy Stella), who encounters her 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza) after taking mushrooms with her friends.
