Created by Megan Park, the show is about 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin), a New York teenager who, after being rejected from her dream summer programme, discovers that she and her twin brother Connor (Keen Ruffalo) have inherited a remote Canadian island from the estranged grandfather she was never allowed to meet. Annie secretly travels to the island to investigate her family history, where she meets Ramona (Amélie Hoeferle), her estranged sister, while fiding her bearings around a new love triangle blossing in her life.
