I wouldn't be joking if I said that streaming platforms all over the country have united to push out as many sports movies, series and documentarfies possible this week. Is this because of the Wimbledon-World Cup double Whammy? Most probably. But two major sporting events, it turns out, gives you a good chance to explore just how many genres you can explore within sports itself.

And so in this week's OTT release we have everything from Ram Charan's sports movie Peddi to gang rivalries in Balti, a documentary on Kerala's football traditions and many more. There are also courtroom dramas, thrillers and K-drama heists, and just a little bit of everything to keep your entertained for this week.

1. Nothing to Lose

French crime drama Nothing to Lose follows Jada (Nawell Madani), a devoted single mother whose son urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. When every legal avenue fails to deliver a suitable donor, Jada is drawn into the criminal underworld in a desperate attempt to save his life.

2. Trying Season 5

The fifth season of Trying follows Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) as they continue raising Princess and Tyler after finally becoming parents. Their family dynamic is disrupted when Kat (Charlotte Riley), the children's biological mother, unexpectedly returns, forcing everyone to confront unresolved emotions.

3. Peddi

Peddi's titular character (Ram Charan) is a gifted cricketer whose ambitions are barred by financial barriers until he falls in love with the daughter of a respected village leader (Janhvi Kapoor). Leaving cricket behind, Peddi turns to wrestling and eventually inspires his village to unite through sport in a fight for it's dignity and due recognition.

4. Ikka

Courtroom thriller Ikka follows Arjun Mehra (Sunny Deol), a celebrated lawyer whose unwavering belief in justice is challenged when he agrees to defend Shauryamann Gaur (Akshaye Khanna), a man he once prosecuted for attempted murder. With a loved one's life hanging in the balance, Arjun pushes ethical boundaries inside and outside the courtroom while taking on a determined public prosecutor (Tillotama Shome).

5. Miguel Ángel Blanco: The 48 Hours that Changed Spain
