Hrithik Roshan Is The Cover Star Of Esquire India’s Inaugural Issue

The superstar actor is in a never-seen-before avatar on the cover of the launch issue of Esquire India

By Team Esquire India | LAST UPDATED: MAR 11, 2025

For those of us old enough to remember, there’s no forgetting the euphoria-generating success that was Kaho Na... Pyaar Hai (2000). Almost overnight, a young actor entered the movies and it’s as if, the world had been waiting, just for him.

Everything about Hrithik Roshan was extraordinary. His Greek-God good looks were better than everyone else. His acting chops were second to none. And those dance moves... we’d never seen anyone dance like that!

But he wasn’t content with just being India’s heartthrob – he wanted to act and act he did, exceptionally so. From Koi... Mil Gaya (2003) and Jodhaa Akbar (2008) to Super 30 (2019) and Vikram Vedha (2022), he’s consistently delivered performances bereft of vanity and a sheen of superstardom. There have also been those star-making vehicles - Dhoom 2 (2006), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Bang Bang! (2014) and War (2019), to name a few – where’s he looked and danced like only he can, and we’ve lapped them all up.

It’s his 25th year in the business and Roshan has never looked and felt better. Such is his allure that even if he doesn’t have a release for a long time, nothing takes away from his stardom.

Quite like Esquire, that has been setting the standards for style and substance across the world for nine decades now, Roshan too has set the gold standard for what it means to be a star who’s also a phenomenal actor.

As Esquire’s legacy arrives in India, there couldn’t have been a better cover star than Hrithik Roshan to grace the inaugural issue of Esquire India magazine. They truly don’t make them like him anymore.

He’s come a long way, yes, but has a longer path ahead that he’s charted out for himself. There’s no doubt he’ll do it all, like he has been doing for all these years.

We hope you enjoy the cover shoot and images – it’ll all be unveiled soon.
