With content explosion, come a plethora of opportunities, and with that, fresh faces.
2024 was a year of debuts. From Junaid Khan in Maharaj to Archies' Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja and Agastya Nanda and Varun Sood in Call Me Bae, many new stars took their first significant steps into the industry. Some of them have already gone ahead and won the hearts of audiences and critics alike. Zahan Kapoor was wonderful in Faraaz and is now earning laurels for Black Warrant, for instance.
Now, it's time for the debutantes of 2025 to make their mark. Like last year, this one too has a long list of exciting new talents, each one more promising than the year. How many of them come out shining? Only time will tell.
For now, here are the male debutantes of 2025, the stars in the making:
Veer Pahariya
Grandson of Former Union Minister, Sushilkumar Shinde, Veer Pahariya has just made his debut with Sky Force, playing the role of Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya, who was part of the airstrike mission but went missing after an attack and was presumed dead in the Pakistani territory. He is the only Indian Air Force Officer to be awarded the Maha Vir Chakra posthumously.
Ibrahim Ali Khan
Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Diler alongside Sreeleela. The film is said to be a sports drama and is likely to release this year. The actor has been quite active in Bollywood events and parties and is seen actively interacting with the paparazzi. Last year, he shot for an ad campaign for Puma India to promote its Palermo sneaker line.
Yashvardhan Ahuja
Yashvardhan Ahuja is Govinda’s son and is set to debut in National Film award-winner Sai Rajesh’s film. It has been recently announced that Babil Khan will play an important part in the film too.
Ahaan Panday
Ahaan Panday’s big debut is likely this year, in a project which has been kept neatly under the wraps. Ananya Panday’s cousin, and son of Deanne and Chikki Panday, the young lad will feature in a love story by Mohit Suri, produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF). He has been mentored by Aditya Chopra and is likely to make a big impact with his craft.
Aman Indra Kumar
Son of director Indra Kumar, Aman Indra Kumar is taking his legacy forward by stepping into show business. He recently took to Instagram to announce his big debut, Tera Yaar Hoon Main, directed by Milap Milan Zaveri.
Ansh Duggal
Fresh faces Ansh Duggal and Pragati Srivastava will be making their debut through Aanand L Rai’s Nakhrewaalii that is set to release in February this year. Duggal, a former model, has been the face of many ad campaigns as well.
Aryan Khan
Son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan’s Bollywood foray has been long awaited. While he chose a different path by venturing into business (liquor and clothing brand D’YAVOL), the much-anticipated Netflix series written and directed by him is set to release this year.
Aaman Devgan
Aaman Devgan recently debuted with Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani in Azaad. Actor Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aaman has worked as an assistant director with his uncle on his films Runway 34 and Bhuj and has been dreaming of a career in acting since his teenage years.
