Crime 101 Trailer: Chris Hemsworth's Heist Thriller Needs To Be On Your Radar
They truly don't make 'em like Chris Hemsworth!
He's that rare kind of actors who'll have you buy into whatever it is that he's selling. Man on a mission killing everyone in sight? He's got the physique for it. Just watch him in Extraction. Charming every woman he meets? Sure, he's got the looks. Superhero extraordinaire? Have you seen Thor? Whatever be the crime, he's surely got your time!
Now he's taking on a heist, and it's looking to be quite the ride!
In his new movie, Crime 101, Hemsworth stars as an elusive thief who's long kept the LA police mystified. They've never been able to catch up with him for he's been just that cool. But when he takes on a mission way too high stakes, hoping it'll be his last one, things don't quite go as planned.
You don't need us to tell you what ensues next, right? A cat and mouse chase, yes, but a bunch of other cool characters entering the scene too. Like Halle Berry as an insurance broker who joins hands with Hemsworth. Or Mark Ruffalo as the relentless detective chasing the two. There's Barry Keoghan as part of the cast, among others, as well.
The film is based on Don Winslow's famous novella of the same name, so if you've read it you'd know what to expect. Though we wouldn't put it past the makers to tweak a few things to make it interesting for even those who are familiar with the source material.
It's directed by Bart Layton (the man who made American Animals by the way) so our expectations are quite high. Plus the trailer is genuinely fun and promises quite a good time at the movies. A well-made heist crime thriller is always a great idea, isn't it?

It's a while before the film releases though. February 13 next year, to be precise. But then, the way this year has passed, that doesn't seem too far ahead, to be honest.
