India vs England Live Streaming: How To Watch IND vs ENG 1st T20I Live On TV And Online?

After being whitewashed 0-2 by Ireland last week, the Indian team is now gearing up to face England in a five-match T20I series starting Wednesday. The 1st IND vs ENG T20I will be played at the Riverside Ground, Chester-Le-Street from 10 p.m. IST onwards.

Ahead of the match, India captain Shreyas Iyer remained silent over Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's debut in the series opener and insisted that it is important to back those players who won the T20 World Cup a few months ago.

To accommodate Sooryavanshi in the playing XI, the team management will have to break the successful opening pair of Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma.

As per reports, when asked specifically if Sooryavanshi was going to make his debut on Wednesday, Iyer refused to divulge any information.

"You never know what is going to happen. Our hands are also tied at the moment in terms of what we are going to do. This is very private," news agency PTI quoted him as saying.

"This is something that we discuss in the team. We can't let everyone know about what combination we are going to play and let the opponents know that this is going to happen. He is a prodigy and whenever he gets an opportunity to play, definitely, he will do (a) brilliant (job)," he added.

Iyer, who took over India captaincy before the Ireland tour, labelled the first-ever series loss to the Irish as "depressing".

Meanwhile, England named their playing XI for the first T20I on Tuesday. England's batting consists of aggressive batters like Phil Salt, Jos Buttler, skipper Harry Brooks, Jacob Bethell, Tom Banton and Will Jacks. They have decided to rest Jofra Archer and Josh Tongue as they were a part of the recently concluded Test series against New Zealand. Their bowling line up includes Luke Wood, Saqib Mahmood, Sam Curran, Liam Dawson and Adil Rashid.

The 1st IND vs ENG T20I match will be broadcast live on the Sony Sports Network TV channels.

The 1st T20I between India and England will be streamed live on the JioHotstar app and website.
